Lissete Lanuza Sáenz

Lissete E. Lanuza Sáenz was born in Panama. She studied law and has a Masters from the University of Barcelona. She’s won enough literary short story awards she’s lost count, and she’s been published in literary magazines and compilations. She’s also published three short story books, and will one day publish a novel in Spanish – if she can ever be convinced it’s ready.

She was previously the Movies/TV Lead in charge of Features, Lists and News at CBR. She’s also the Editor-In-Chief at Fangirlish. Her work has been published at Remezcla, En Fuego, Latina Media Co, Tell Tale TV, Netflix Life, among others, and she’s currently the co-host of podcast I’m Not Yelling, I’m Latina. She’s a Rotten Tomatoes Approved Critic, and a Member of the Television Critics Association. She hates the color yellow and will never say no to coffee ice cream.
